While in class for her fashion design and merchandising degree, a student displayed how to make a beaded earring. Dalmeda became hooked with its ease, fun and creativity. After graduating from Katharine Gibbs College within New York City in 2005, she worked as a production coordinator in Queens New York. This enabled her the opportunity to delve into technical design, sales, merchandising, and logistics.

After a hiatus to another career path jewelry called her back. Dalmeda Designs was brought back to life. She aims to create something different with each piece. Her glass collections recycles glass bottles into beautiful wearable jewelry with an exciting vibe. Moreover, the use of crystals allows for spiritual healing by being readily available as accessories. She enjoys the challenges of how things are composed, colored, and move.
